The career training department is a unit with the CCPP whose objective is to produce holistic individuals in career-related matters. The department assumes that trainees (students) have limited to no exposure to all training and therefore each individual training is held from the point of a beginner level. The bottom-up learning approach that we use involves exposure to only the basics of particular pieces of training and slowly building upon those basics towards a whole and exhaustive skill set.
Our trainings are student-centred, with the focus being on student growth in subjects of skill sets that won’t be taught in classrooms or lecture halls. We seek to give our trainees a competitive edge by equipping them with the skills necessary for a global economic market.
With challenges come adjustments and eventually new normal. The pandemic has enabled us to adopt an online training mechanism that compliments our already-existing face-face trainings.
